Uno Foods WordPress Product Database

Project Description

Uno Foods is a Filipino and Asian foods importer, distributor, supplier and wholesaler with offices in Vancouver (Richmond), and Toronto. Uno Foods required a product database to showcase their range of products and brand introduction website. The site relies on the Cloud Flare network, lazy loading assets and minimized HTML, CSS and JS allowed fast loading of the products on a razor thin optimization budget.

Product Database Content Management

We used WordPress for the content management system, and a highly customized RT-Theme 18 theme for the design. By default RT-Theme 18 features a custom post type for products, allowing site administrators to reuse this modular content throughout the website. Custom styling was added to better showcase products. We used Javascript to reduce competitors ability to view source documents and download (and reuse) image content.
